Piñatas have a profound symbolism in the battle between Good and Evil. Here, the Covid piñata rightly owns the status of the Evil, the Demon. Destroying it gives us all satisfaction, strength and joy. It purifies us from the sorrow, the anxiety and the angst we all went through. We long for the won prizes, for the good news that are finally coming in and for a moment of relief and change.
